ACCESS ALL AREAS: SGB'S CUPLOK ADDS FLEXIBILITY TO ACCESS SCAFFOLD
SGB Rovacabin
06/12/2006
SGB has supplied and erected almost 16,000 sq m of its Cuplok scaffolding system for access to the entire external elevations of two new multi-storey apartment buildings in West London.
The Gypsy Corner development in Acton is being built by Rialto Homes, and consists of two linked towers that will together provide 446 apartments.
The scaffolding incorporates 14 lifts on the lower block and 17 lifts on the taller block, providing access for the developers' contractors to complete external finishing works. All working lifts of this Cuplok structure incorporate hop-up brackets providing inside board platforms, which can be moved independently of the main scaffolding platforms.
Construction of the new homes began in January 2004 and is due to be completed in early 2007.
