Titon has launched a trickle vent which is perfect for replacement windows.

The Trimvent Select Xtra 5000 is ideal for using where a minimum of 5000mm2 Equivalent Area is needed in habitable rooms to comply with the requirements of the Building Regulations (Part F) England & Wales and conform to the Best Practice Guidelines of the Glass and Glazing Federation.

Based on the company’s hugely successful and popular Trimvent Select Xtra range of background ventilators, the Select Xtra 5000 is the only trickle vent and canopy combination on the UK market with a 5000mm2 Equivalent Area rating in such a compact size. The product fits a standard 13mm wide slot and has an overall length of only 495mm.

Available in white or brown, in screw fix or clip fix versions, the Trimvent Select Xtra 5000 has a matching canopy. Like the rest of the Trimvent® range, the ventilator is marked with its EA performance.

Titon manufactures a wide range of trickle ventilators, both slot and glazed in to suit many different window applications. All the vents are easy to fit, suitable for timber, aluminium, PVCu or composite windows and are ideal for night ventilation without compromising security. Designed with the end user in mind, the vents are simple to operate and unobtrusive on the window.
