Elfin Kitchens new mobile showroom has provided the Essex based company with the perfect vehicle to meet requests to see the quality of 'finish and build' of its range of kitchens and cupboards. Increasingly, architects and specifiers have been contacting the company to see the products Elfin Kitchens supply, and the new vehicle has enabled the company to bring its compact kitchen units to their door.

The vehicle though recently brought a further dimension to the services provided by Elfin, when a request came through to supply a M150 MS LK Elfin Kitchen to a remote signal box at Downham Market in Suffolk. The signal box was located in a position that made access difficult and because of its extremely narrow entry points, required the kitchen unit, even though small in its overall footprint, to be dismantled.

Providing solutions is just part of the service. Elfin Kitchens don't just sell the units and end its association with the product the moment it leaves the door. The client explained the situation, and that they had other signal boxes requiring kitchens with similar access difficulties. The mobile showroom provided the perfect vehicle to deliver the kitchen and allowed Elfin Kitchens to give on the spot training to a group of technicians who could then install them at the other locations.

"Our kitchen units are specifically designed to fit in small spaces and offer full functionality, so when we get a call like this it presents a challenge to provide a solution. I like to think that at Elfin we go that step further to give the customers the service they require. By providing the training onsite we were able to supply the kitchen direct to the site and skill the technicians to replicate the task at their other locations."
