Enclosures in the range, which includes compact distribution boxes and sheet-steel distribution boards, have been developed specifically to meet the needs of UK users and all types are supplied complete with neutral and earth terminals for outgoing ways.
Manufactured from high-impact flame-retardant plastic, Moeller Electric compact distribution boxes are available in standard versions and in moisture-proof versions that are ideal for use in outbuildings and other areas where high levels of humidity may be encountered.
Both versions are available with up to 54 usable outgoing ways and both include mounting rails for use not only with MCBs and other protective devices, but also with control components.
Standard distribution boxes are offered in surface and flush mounting versions with a choice of transparent or opaque lids, while moisture-proof boxes are suitable for surface mounting only and are supplied with transparent lids.
For larger applications or those where a metal enclosure is preferred, Moeller Electric offers surface- and flush-mounting distribution board enclosures with up to 198 useable outgoing ways. These robust enclosures have provision for a Moeller Electric MCCB incomer to be fitted internally, eliminating the cost and inconvenience of mounting the incomer separately and producing a neat, compact assembly.
The distribution board enclosures which provide generous space for wiring despite their compact overall dimensions are supplied as standard with a removable DIN-rail mounting frame and a gland plate to facilitate cabling. They are offered with plain steel or glazed doors and with either white or grey paint finish.
The versatility of Moeller Electric's distribution board enclosures is further increased by a large range of accessories. This includes blanking plates, segregators that can be fitted internally to provide a 'hidden' control section, single- and double-row dead plates, universal mounting plates for control items, and key-operated door locks. All accessories and standard enclosure components can be purchased separately. | |
