Pilkington has unveiled another offering from its high performance solar control glass range – Pilkington Suncool™ Brilliant 40/22.

This new product incorporates the highest technical performance and is an innovative solution to meet energy saving legislation in commercial structures -by helping to reduce the amount of energy used to cool and heat buildings.

Pilkington Suncool™ Brilliant is a cost effective way of reducing energy consumption thanks to its relatively high natural light transmission of 40 per cent, and is also aesthetically pleasing with its subtle blue tint.

Michael Metcalfe, Commercial IGU Sales Manager Pilkington Building Products UK, said: “Commercial buildings are increasingly becoming landmarks, combining state of the art technology and outstanding aesthetics. The selection of glass in the facades of these buildings has a major impact on their function and appearance, and to meet this demand we have introduced Pilkington Suncool™ Brilliant 40/22.”
