|  | | Grace Construction Products | | 13/12/2006 | | | Grace Construction Products is repackaging all of its product lines in an effort to raise its brand profile in line with its market leading building materials.
Grace, which manufactures and supplies construction waterproofing products and concrete admixtures worldwide, is revamping all of its product labels and packaging across Europe over the course of this year.
The company wants to achieve a more consistent look for its wide range of products while also enabling customers to more readily identify with the Grace name.
Products such as Bituthene® and Procor® have become market leaders as a result of the quality associated with them, but customers have not necessarily associated them with the Grace name.
Kevin O'Gorman, Grace's European marketing manager for building products, said: 'We are aware that our current product labels are all very different and, in many cases, are not easily recognisable as Grace products. This rebranding programme is very much an exercise of reinforcing our position as the leading building product supplier in Europe.
'It's a very big step to take, but one which will greatly improve our brand identity and allow customers to instantly recognise the quality products on the shelf.'
The first product to receive a makeover is Grace's Bituthene, a high-performance waterproofing membrane, which is supplied in rolls and packaged in boxes. The new design incorporates a large green band - Grace's existing house colour - with the Grace name printed in a much larger font than previous and in a more prominent position. This concept will be incorporated into Grace's entire family of products over the next few months.
