Leading manufacturer of tile adhesives announces innovative plans to raise its brand profile & help stockists increase sales.

Dunlop Adhesives recently held an international sales conference enabling its teams from across the UK and Eastern Europe to discuss plans to further increase the brand’s profile and help stockists significantly increase sales.

Held at the Wychwood Park Hotel in Crewe, the event saw the leading manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products unveil a number of new initiatives set to take the brand forward in 2008, including retail training courses for merchants, new product development and promotional campaigns.

One initiative in particular set to go down a storm is the ‘Sporting Year 2008’ promotion – a series of giveaways which offer customers the chance to win tickets for a whole host of prestigious sporting events. Each giveaway will be fully supported by striking advertising and bespoke Point-of-Sale, enabling stockists to really take full advantage of this unique competition.

In addition, and keen to continue developing and improving its high quality products, the manufacturer announced its product development plans for the coming year, which will include the creation of multi language packaging for those products sold in Eastern European.

The company also revealed its intention to offer even higher levels of sales support to its stockists in 2008. Over the next twelve months, Dunlop distributors will be able to look forward to a unique brand focussed training programme designed to give them the skills and product knowledge to increase their sales performance, as well as enhanced sales aids such as new product swatches, revised POS and extended merchandising.

Debi Bailey, Senior Product Manager at Dunlop Adhesives commented: “The international sales conference is always a highly beneficial exercise. It allows our teams to communicate to each other and to senior management any issues and opportunities faced by themselves or by their customers.

“It also allows us to announce some really exciting initiatives that are going to boost the brand’s profile and ultimately, our stockists’ sales.”
