 | | WOLSELEY INITIATIVE ATTRACTS ATAG | | | ATAG Heating UK Ltd | | 25/02/2008 | | | A significant move by Wolseley Parts Centers, to prevent non-Corgi Registered installers purchasing safety sensitive boiler spare parts, has attracted ATAG Heating UK Ltd to appoint Parts Centers as a main supplier of ATAG spares here in the UK.
“This strategy is completely in line with our own”, said Phil Bell, Managing Director of ATAG UK. “We take extreme care not to sell our boilers to non Corgi registered installers and Wolseley’s move to remove rogue traders from our industry is probably one of the most significant actions we have seen for many years to promote gas safety”.
Over the past 3 years, ATAG has experienced a prolific growth in boiler sales throughout the British Isles, in both the domestic and commercial sectors of the industry. In order to support the population of products in the field, it has now become necessary for professional installers to have easy access to service parts wherever they are in the UK. With over 200 branches of Parts Centers nationwide, ATAG believes the combined after sales support of ATAG and Wolseley fulfils this and provides a benefit to both installers and end users that is second to none.
“We’ve come a long way in just a few years”, adds Phil. “This is another leap forward in building quality controlled distribution of our expanding range of products to bona-fide gas engineers, in the domestic and light commercial markets for heating and hot water”.

ATAG has created much interest in recent months, with the introduction of its ATAG E and ATAG Q boiler ranges, plus new Q Solar models. Together with other developments in hand, this means the increased availability of OEM parts is bound to further increase the popularity of ATAG boilers, which are already deemed to be the most efficient and environmentally friendly a European manufacturer has to offer. | |
