The New Levolux Universal Curtain Walling Bracket provides designers and engineers with a fixing method for the new short nosed mullion systems.

In keeping with the solar shading specialists’ commitment to innovation, the bracket incorporates an ingenious thermal as well as an acoustic break. This greatly reduces the serious construction risks associated with cold bridging and noise vibrations, and helps developers meet the very latest building codes and regulations

The Universal Curtain Walling Bracket eliminates the risk of interstitial condensation forming where the bracket punctures the mullion. This stops mould growth that could harm the fixings used to install the system.

It also provides a vital barrier to audible noise energy being transmitted into the building structure, which can be an issue with Brise Soleil systems.

By using various materials with different levels of conductivity, the New Universal Curtain Walling Bracket acts as both a thermal and as an acoustic break.

According to independent heat loss tests carried out at Bath University, the new bracket performs 70% better than existing standard curtain walling brackets.
