 | | RESIN SURFACES CLEANING RANGE MEANS CLEAN FLOORS AND A GREENER PLANET | | | Resin Surfaces Ltd (RSL) | | 18/12/2007 | | | Resin flooring systems specialist, Resin Surfaces Ltd (RSL) is breaking into new, greener territory with the launch of a range of sustainable specialist cleaning products.
The multi product-strong launch range, which is available from January 2008, combines naturally sourced ingredients with outstanding cleaning performance. All products are formulated for use on a wide variety of surfaces, ranging from sealed and unsealed concrete and resin coatings and screeds to sealed wood and cork.
The sea weed based-range is naturally biodegradable and contains no chemicals that are harmful to the environment, meaning it can play a key part in reducing the environmental impact of maintenance activity.
The range includes a general industrial floor cleaner and oil removing product which have both been developed for use in heavy-wear industrial settings. For warehouse and factory environments where forklift trucks and goods vehicles are common, an RSL Tyre mark remover has also been formulated using a main active ingredient derived from seaweed.
End users in the printing sector will benefit from a GPI remover formulated to remove printers¹ ink from floor surfaces. RSL¹s considerable customer base in the food and hospitality sector also stands to gain from the addition of a fat and grease remover suitable for use in restaurant and hotel kitchens in addition to the industrial Cleaner.
Contractors¹ and installers¹ cleaning needs have also been served by RSL¹s range, which includes a Tool cleaner designed to remove resin-based chemicals from installation equipment.
RSL managing director, Ivy Wroe, commented: ³Cleaning and maintenance is a hugely important part of ensuring that a fit-for-purpose floor surface stays that way. With concern about the environmental impact of some cleaning materials people use which are rising, we felt this was an excellent chance to offer the industry a sustainable alternative.
