Specialist envelope contractor Prater and manufacturer Ruukki have produced a DVD designed to help architects, specifiers, main contractors and building owners understand more fully the benefits of using off –site manufactured solutions for roofs and walls.
Featuring live action footage of two projects the companies were involved with –Kings Waterfront Arena & Conference Centre and Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, the DVD tracks the design and manufacture of roofing and wall elements from Ruukki’s factories through to delivery at site and installation by Prater.
It contains interviews with the Operations Director from one of the main contractors , who explains why they specified an off –site manufactured solution for Queen Alexandra Hospital and also key personnel from Prater and Ruukki who describe how they perceive the benefits from an installer and manufacturer perspective.
