J&J Ormerod PLC (JJO plc), the leading independent UK manufacturer of quality kitchens and bedrooms, announces that it is expanding the range of designs and products available in the striking Ferrara Oak finish, first introduced to the Colonial Kitchen range in August 2005. Ferrara Oak is a straight grained timber effect in a warm coffee and latte palette that was designed to meet the changing market trend toward the browns and beiges of contemporary furniture design. Since its introduction Ferrara Oak has proven so successful that it will be introduced across JJO plc's entire product range.
Ferrara Oak was introduced to the Colonial Kitchen range in two styles, Decor and Cologne. Two further designs are being added, both brand new additions to the Colonial range, the IIca Wedge door and the Integra integrated handle design. The IIca Wedge door is a beautifully smooth door that tapers away at the top and bottom edges to lend a sensual edge to an otherwise simple design. The revolutionary integrated handle adds a stylish twist to the classic shaker style with an almost invisible hand space integrated underneath the top frame to create clean, elegant lines.
JJO plc's new entry level eco kitchen range will also benefit from the addition, with Citra and Avanti styles both available in Ferrara Oak. This new entry level kitchen range has been developed to enable kitchen retailers, builders' merchants and contractors to offer the quality of kitchen associated with JJO plc at a competitive price. Citra and Avanti in Ferrara Oak represent JJO plc's commitment to providing leading edge, contemporary designs on a budget with the new eco range. Prices for an eco sink base start at £75 including VAT. JJO plc will also be offering a generous trade discount which will allow retailers to offer lower priced, quality kitchens with no loss to the generous margins currently enjoyed with JJO plc Colonial Kitchens.
JJO plc's high quality bedroom range will also be enhanced as Ferrara Oak is added to the range in both the Henley and Ascot designs. This introduction is a response to the trend for bedroom furniture to adopt the contemporary design now well established in other parts of the home.
