Andrews Water Heaters
Andrews Water Heaters, UK market leader in commercial water heating solutions, has launched an evacuated tube solar collector option to complement the SOLARflo renewable energy water heating package, as an alternative to the currently offered glazed flat plate collectors. SOLARflo evacuated tube collectors are available in 20 or 30 tube options with gross collector areas of 2.83m2 and 4.25m2 respectively. These supply heated water to single coil or twin coil unvented hot water cylinders holding between 450 litres and 900 litres. Smaller and larger bespoke solutions are also available.
Whichever collectors are chosen, the SOLARflo package is compatible with the innovative Andrews MAXXflo, Queen’s Award winning condensing stainless steel direct fired storage water heater. Designed for large residential, commercial and industrial applications, its highly efficient stainless steel heat exchanger, special burners and tank design, enable high performance, low energy consumption and low running costs to be combined with low carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions. With up to four independent multiple premix modulating burner modules, MAXXflo can achieve up to 109% efficiency and ultra low NOx emissions of 25ppm.
Potterton Commercial
Commercial heating specialist Potterton Commercial is showcasing an exciting new product and the first in their developing range of renewable low carbon solutions. This 21.3kW ground source heat pump is aimed at commercial properties and is supplied as a package to include heat pump, ground loop manifold and source-side pump station. It has one of the highest Coefficient of Performance (COP)available on the market, which is 4.7 based on 0°C source temperature and 35°C load temperature and a whisper quiet noise level of 33dB(A) at 1 metre. Available for installation in multiple unit cascade configuration, the package can be supplied complete with Potterton Commercial high efficiency condensing boilers, which would provide the heat to satisfy peak demand.
The latest Eurocondense two ranges from Potterton Commercial is a perfect choice for applications where high outputs are required. This floor-standing condensing boiler uses the latest technology to deliver excellent energy efficiency, and is available in eight outputs, 90, 120, 160, 200, 250, 320, 400 and 500 kW. To optimise the boiler’s efficiency the Eurocondense two has an innovative, ‘Integrated System Regulator’ (ISR) controls platform which, in response to customer feedback, has been designed to provide an easy to use interface. The Eurocondense two silicon/aluminium alloy heat exchanger offers optimum heat transfer through a unique monoblock, modular design which further increases its energy efficiency.
Baxi Senertec
The Baxi Senertec DACHS mini-CHP unit, exhaust condensers, buffer vessel and Potterton Commercial condensing boilers could be installed together as a complete package when the CHP unit acts as a lead boiler, supported by the condensing gas-fired boiler, during periods when the heat demand exceeds the output of the CHP unit. | |
