 | | PARASENSE SHOWCASES UNIVERSAL UTILITY MONITORING AT NEMEX 2008 | | | Parasense Ltd | | 13/03/2008 | | | Parasense is introducing Headline News, a scalable solution enabling large and small commercial premises to benefit from cost effective utility analysis and reporting, to delegates at the NEMEX exhibition in May.
Show visitors will be able to interact personally with the online interface of the product which draws analyses for energy, gas, oil and water usage. It is a flexible, modular solution that can be calibrated to work with both half hourly utility data and sub-metering systems.
The main benefit of Headline News is its ability to present information in a simple, user-friendly format. Utility readings are diverted to Parasense where complex data crunching and analysis occurs before the information is segmented and formatted so that different parties can drill down into relevant details and specific time periods.
The Headline News web site offers relevant and beneficial utility usage, analysis and reporting without necessarily requiring onsite installation of hardware. This significantly reduces set up costs and makes it an ideal option for small or multi-site organisations as well as larger industrial, retail or office facilities.
An initial benchmarking audit enables usage reduction targets to be set with seasonal variations such as outside temperature and business fluctuation taken into account. Significant exceptions to expected patterns of use trigger a response and communication flow via email or text message with tasks assigned to relevant individuals or contractors. Problem areas can be pinpointed with precision, whether they lie in regions, specific premises or zones where sub-metering is installed within premises.
“Headline News takes all the pain out of utility monitoring,” says Dan Radford, managing director at Parasense. “The hard work is done at our end, so customers can simply log in and access the information that is relevant to them. The case for investing in utility monitoring equipment is watertight – measurement and management of usage go hand in hand. Once you have identified your weak spots for wastage, you can do something about it and our systems provide a quick and easy way to get right to the heart of over-usage problems for large and small premises alike.” | |
