Where first and lasting impressions of levels of customer care can be made, public toilets act as the 'shop window' for any organization. Yet in recent years, significant numbers of public toilets have been closed down as a result of poor and less than sanitary provisions.

The public is placed at risk if sanitary installations do not even meet the basic requirements for health and hygiene.

If you are responsible for designing buildings and allocating sanitary facilities or selecting, installing or maintaining sanitary facilities, be active in the pursuit of excellence in all areas of public toilet provision and management with two new standards from BSI Business Information.
