The British Woodworking Federation's (BWF) Specifers Guide to Joinery and Woodworking is a reference guide and handbook which lists all the products, specialist skills and services provided by members of the BWF and its product promotion and certification Schemes. It provides an invaluable guide for those who specify and use timber products and for anyone who wants to find out about the BWF and its members' services.

The Guide summarises the objectives of the BWF and its Code of Conduct, listing all BWF members for 2006 and outlining their specialities. Information about the BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door and Doorset Scheme and the Timber Window Accreditation (TWA) Scheme is also provided with membership listings.

Richard Lambert, Chief Executive of the BWF, says: 'This guide is an invaluable reference tool for anyone involved in the specification of timber products, whether it is for joinery, timber windows or fire doors. It provides at-a-glance county-by-county information about products available from companies across the UK who have demonstrated their commitment to quality through their membership of the BWF and its Schemes'.

The Specifiers Guide is available to both members and non-members free of charge from the BWF.
