Eclipse – the world-class hacksaw brand from Spear & Jackson – has enhanced its range of professional hacksaws with the introduction of the 19T model.

Comfort and flexibility are key benefits provided by the 19T. It features a strong box-section tubular steel frame, mated with a comfortable, lightweight and durable cast aluminium handle. A comfort grip at the other end of the frame allows the non-sawing hand to guide the blade if necessary. Special location pins at the base of the handle permit the blade to be set for both horizontal and vertical sawing; blade tension can be adjusted using the comfort tension nut.

The frame comes ready-fitted with a premium 24 teeth per inch (tpi) bimetal high-speed blade. This high-performance long-life blade offers superb cutting performance, wear resistance and safety when tackling most metals and plastics. The blade is shatterproof, and combines a hard-wearing, high-speed steel cutting edge, electron-beam welded to a durable, flexible alloy back.

The introduction of the Eclipse 19T professional hacksaw – with Plus 30 bimetal blade – not only increases the range offering but also reinforces the professional qualities associated with the Eclipse brand; and its new features should ensure it becomes a favourite of the tradesman in the years to come.
