 | | URETECH’S INNOVATIVE RESIN SCREED SYSTEM IS A “STAR” IN THE MAKING | | | Star Uretech Ltd | | 03/06/2008 | | | With the launch of the brand new Uretech CP2 resin screed system, Lancashire-based adhesives manufacturer, Star Uretech Ltd, has brought a ground-breaking product to the marketplace that provides a unique solution to the inherent problems associated with traditional polyurethane and epoxy binders. Unlike these traditional systems, the revolutionary, fully bonded, solvent-free Uretech CP2 system offers extra strength, outstanding anti fade properties and improved adhesion to aggregates due to its highly modified PU base.
Launching the CP2 system, Star Uretech’s Managing Director, Tony Hughes said, “We are delighted to offer this innovative, Eco-friendly product that provides both strength and long term performance. Containing no volatile organic compounds that can be damaging to the environment, CP2 is a cost effective solution suitable for a variety of applications. CP2 is easy to work with thanks to a pot life that allows up to 1 hour workability. In addition the finished surface is cured enough to walk on after 4-5 hours and strong enough for traffic in 24 hours. Star Uretech expect that CP2 will help meet the growing demand for a system that doesn’t require ‘rubbing up’ and it can be ‘matted down’ for a more natural look that is also slip resistant. | |
