 | | NEW INTRUDER ALARMS FROM NEWLEC | | | Newlec Electrical | | 24/06/2008 | | | Electrical wholesaler Newey & Eyre has introduced a new range of Newlec intruder alarms and accessories - utilising the latest technology they give the professional installer a reliable product range that is simple to install.
The new range includes two new eight zone wired alarms, one includes an LED remote keypad while the other features an LCD keypad. Both alarm kits come with an eight zone wired control panel, keypad, motion sensors, a bell box, surface mounted contacts, a panic button, as well as 100m of six core cable and a 12v battery. Ideal for residential and light commercial installation, the range is flexible and user friendly.
Other new additions to the Newlec security range include a wire free shock sensor - ideal for window frames or walls, wire free smoke and CO2 detectors, a new modern design bell box, advanced remote keypads and sensors (incorporating infrared PIRs) and detectors using microwave technology.
Gary Walker Newey & Eyre’s Category Manager for security systems explains why they have introduced so many new products to the company’s range. He said: “We want to ensure that Newlec continues to help you to work well, which is why we are now offering a choice of alarm systems that offer not only excellent value for money but that are quick to install.
“Newlec offers the best possible selection of simple but effective security products for today’s busy electrician and we know that we have a comprehensive offering to suit any application.”
Newlec is also promoting a new wireless premium alarm system, featuring an LCD keypad, three PIRs, a magnetic switch, a multifunction key fob and a wireless external siren. The kit also comes complete with the control panel, which features a speech dialler, remote set, audible message memo pad and a voice indication of arm/part/disarm.
The new intruder alarms compliment Newlec’s existing wide range of security products, available exclusively from Newey & Eyre’s 170+ branches across the UK. These include a standard wire free alarm kit, as well as a range of wire free motion detectors, including detectors capable of recognising pets without activating, magnetic switches and multifunction keyfobs. The products are suitable for a variety of applications and can be used in residential, commercial or industrial installations, ensuring maximum flexibility. | |
