 | | BEAUMONT SCORES HAT TRICK IN KEY MARKETS | | | Beaumont (UK) | | 18/07/2008 | | | One of London's top hotels has put its faith in Beaumont (UK) to keep a constant on-demand supply of hot water flowing to its 305 luxury guest rooms and suites.
The five-star Sheraton Park Lane Hotel has has had two gas-fired Energymaster 4100 DHW generators installed to replace two older Beaumont models, which had been running with minimum maintenance for 18 years.
Beaumont (UK) General Manager James Fallon said: “Starwood Hotels, which owns the Sheraton, was so impressed with the energy efficiency and long-term reliability of our equipment that they had no hesitation in replacing it with two more of our boilers. The build quality and unique design of our equipment creates significant savings of 20% or more a month in running costs.”
The new boilers were installed in record time, despite the boiler-room being down two flights of stairs with a turn halfway down. The boilers were delivered in pieces, the heaviest two weighing 225kg each, and were manhandled down the staircases with the help of ropes to be assembled on site. Competitors' boilers, which are delivered fully assembled, could not have been installed in such an awkward space, says Mr Fallon.
The Sheraton contract is one of three significant new orders for Beaumont (UK). Reading Police Station is to receive an Energymaster 125, while South Birmingham Primary Care Trust has ordered two Minimaster 110s.
Mr Fallon said: “These successes in our three key markets – leisure, healthcare, and local authorities – show that our faith in the durability, reliability, and energy efficiency of our products is paying off. Well-designed and ruggedly built installations like ours may cost more, but they need less maintenance, they don't have to be replaced as often, and they burn far less fuel.
“With everybody concerned about carbon footprints and the soaring price of fuel, these are key considerations for all specifiers.” | |
