Free package offered with the purchase of a Fluke 1650 Series Multifunction Installation Tester.

For a limited period, Fluke is offering a free 17th Edition Special Offer Pack to purchasers in the UK of a Fluke 1651, Fluke 1652 or Fluke 1653 Multifunction Installation Tester. The free package includes a Fluke T140 Voltage and Continuity Tester with phase rotation testing, a £50 voucher for 17th Edition training with ETS Birmingham, plus a Fluke TD02 Installation Testing Minor Works Certificate book and a Fluke TD03 Periodic Inspection Report book.

The Fluke 17th Edition Special Offer Pack is available to purchasers of a Fluke 1650 Series Multifunction Installation Tester while stocks last, until 30th September 2008. Within the 17th Edition there are a significant number of changes and upgrades to the 16th Edition regulations, including alignment to international standards. One change in the testing requirement is to insulation test limits for SELV and PELV circuits. It is therefore essential that installers ensure that the test equipment they are using, and which they intend to purchase, is ready for use with the new regulations. The Fluke 1650 Series are ideally suited for all aspects of 17th Edition installation testing. They are extremely easy to operate, feature a large backlit display with a wide viewing angle, have a unique ergonomic design, and a padded neck-strap to free the hands of the operator.

The CAT IV 600V rated Fluke T140 Voltage and Continuity Tester included within the package is an innovative two–pole tester featuring a backlit LCD display and LED bargraph, and an integral LED torch for ease of use in low light level environments. It is ideal for rapid on-site measurements from 12V to 690V AC/DC, and provides optical and acoustical continuity indication and resistance measurement up to 0.2kilohms. The Fluke T140 includes a patented three-phase rotation detection system providing quick phase rotation indication, a feature not normally found on instruments of this type.
