MERCHANTS SET TO BOOST SALES WITH IMPRESSIVE ITALIAN GRAND PRIX PRIZE

Leading manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products announces the third phase of its ‘Sporting Year’ competition.

Stockists of Dunlop Adhesives wide range of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products are set to see their sales increase as the innovative manufacturer is giving purchasers the chance to win the prize of a lifetime - flights, accommodation and tickets to see the Italian Grand Prix in Monza on the 12th – 14th September.

This impressive giveaway marks the third phase of the ‘Dunlop Sporting Year’ competition, launched at the start of 2008 to help merchants drive sales by capitalising on the brand’s strong association with sport. It does this by giving purchasers the chance to win tickets to a whole host of prestigious sporting events.

So far, winners of the quarterly prize competitions have won tickets to see the Grand National and most recently, tickets to see England vs South Africa at Lords on the third day of the npower cricket test on the 12th July.

To ensure maximum awareness of the Italian Grand Prix competition and ensure stockists boost their sales, the giveaway, like the others within the 12 month campaign is being supported by striking Point-of Sale, advertising and special Sporting Year merchandise.

Commenting on the Dunlop Sporting Year competition, Debi Bailey, Brand Manager at Dunlop Adhesives said: “The Dunlop Sporting Year promotion has proven to be a huge success. It enables merchants to significantly increase their sales whilst at the same time maintain good relationships with their customers by giving them the chance to win tickets to some of the most high-profile sporting events of the year.

She added: “The Italian Grand Prix is well-known for its passionate crowds and amazing atmosphere – it really is a once in a lifetime prize so I’m sure it will prove extremely popular. Plus, given that all new POS and advertising have been issued to ensure maximum awareness of the competition, we are expecting to see stockists sell some impressive levels of Dunlop adhesives products.”
