An ultra-efficient central mechanical extract ventilator, with a specific fan power as low as 0.18 W/l/s and a maximum capacity of 325 m3/h, has been launched by Titon, one of Europe’s leading ventilation specialists.

Independently tested for SAP Appendix Q by the BRE, it exceeds the Energy Saving Trust’s Best Practice Guidelines.

The WCME100 unit is easy to maintain thanks to the fan’s backward curved blades which ensures they accumulate very little dust. Coupled with its energy efficient DC motor the WCME100 can ventilate a dwelling with a kitchen and two wet rooms with as little energy as 0.18 W/l/s.

Its clever engineering and compact size ensure the unit operates efficiently and quietly. To keep noise to a minimum, the WCME100 has a pyramid shaped internal silencer manufactured from polyurethane/polyester acoustic foam.

The unit can be installed in a variety of positions – against a wall, on the ceiling or even a sloping service – using the mounting eyes which are provided as standard.

In addition to the unit, Titon can also supply the ducting and diffusers to give a fully specified system to ensure optimum performance.
