Access doors manufacturer Bilco UK Ltd has introduced a new range of covers which provide access to underfloor areas and services while blending in with the flooring in which they are laid. The range also includes a sealed duct system comprising a number of lift-out covers, providing a cost effective solution for continuous access to pipe and cables.

The covers are tested in accordance with EN124 and can be filled with tiles, carpet or other floor materials to match the surrounding floor, allowing them to merge discreetly into the background yet be easily accessible when required.

A tapered profile facilitates easy opening and secure closing of 'lift off' panels and they are also available with a hinged design that includes lift assistance for applications that require regular opening with minimal effort.

The panels can be manufactured in steel, stainless steel or aluminium and with reinforcing to meet a wide range of loading requirements. They can be supplied with watertight sealing, insulation and fire protection if required.

Bilco also manufactures a range of roof hatches, smoke vents and pit and floor doors. Models include drainage doors, non-drainage doors, lift assisted doors, doors designed to receive flooring materials, doors for interior building applications, fire rated floor doors and a series of special application doors.
