 | | GETTING A HANDLE ON SITE MATERIALS – KEM EDWARDS ROLLS OUT NEW ON-SITE MATERIALS MANAGEMENT AND HANDLING RANGE | | | Kem Edwards Ltd | | 04/08/2008 | | | Kem Edwards, suppliers of M&E and site supplies, has launched a new range of material handling carts, trolleys and mobile storage cabinets to make managing and moving common site supplies, easier, quicker, safer and more secure.
Developed specifically for common site materials the range can be tailored for each customer to suit not only usage, but site requirement and working practices.
This provides a more efficient alternative to using a ‘standard’ cart or racking option or even unsuitable sack trucks that may not suit each particular purpose. Kem Edwards’ customised designs meet with appropriate standards for the application.
The range also includes ease-of-handling features to make movement on site faster and safer and to assist in complying with health and safety concerns with heavy loads. It also incorporates security features to help prevent theft or misuse when not being used.
Gary Foskett, Special Projects Manager for Kem Edwards said; “Moving materials on-site is an everyday task that has major implications for efficiency and health and safety. Often great care is taken in choosing the best products, yet they are moved around site in an unsuitable way which can also lead to damage or misuse.
“Our new range provides exactly the right equipment for handling specific products and can even be tailored to suit an individual site or project,” he added.
