Wolseley UK, the UK operating company of FTSE-listed plumbing, heating and building materials distributor Wolseley plc, has created a new ‘Lightside’ management structure.

The new structure brings together the leadership of the company’s Lightside plumbing and heating businesses – Plumb Center, Parts Center, William Wilson, BCG, Unifix and Bathstore – under one management team, led by Keith Jones.

Mr Jones will combine his current role as Wolseley’s Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe with the newly created role of Managing Director for UK Lightside with immediate effect.

Rob Marchbank, CEO – Europe and Managing Director Wolseley UK, said: “Plumb Center accounts for nearly one third of Wolseley UK’s turnover and despite challenging market conditions, Plumb Center and Parts Center, who remain market leaders, are having one of the most successful years in their trading history.

“Keith will aim to build on this solid platform. The creation of the Lightside management structure will also ensure we leverage and utilise the best practices across our businesses and align ourselves closer to our customers.

“Keith brings a wealth of experience to his role, and will be focusing on identifying synergies and efficiencies across the Lightside business units.”
