MK ELECTRIC SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDS ITS MASTERSEAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
MK Electric
06/08/2008
MK Electric today announced that LED Group has agreed to immediately cease selling Robus waterproof sockets in the UK because they infringe upon a MK Electric UK patent, related to MK’s Masterseal range.
“Each year, MK Electric invests significantly in intellectual property and new product development," said Mike Southgate, Managing Director of MK Electric. “MK’s customers trust it to develop and manufacture high-quality electrical products backed by substantial research, development and investment. Customers choose MK’s products because of its technical expertise, product innovation and specification support, which over many years has made MK a trusted brand name”.
“MK actively monitors any potential infringements and will continue to enforce vigorously its intellectual property rights around the world,” Southgate concluded.
