We are pleased to announce that Sara Martin has joined the team as a trainer; she was previously an officer for the Royal Navy based in Portsmouth as their Fire Fighting, Search and Rescue senior trainer.
Additionally Shaun Taylor is heading up Leading Edge's general health and safety training. Shaun has greatly expanded the number of courses now available in general safety and we have been working over the last twelve months on developing and expanding our range of height safety courses to reflect the needs and wants of our customers.
On the equipment side as we have expanded our manufacturing, our product development team have been working round the clock to introduce new and exciting products, which as you might expect, have a host of new benefits for our customers. Not the least of interest to you will be our `Price Promise' range of outstanding quality and specification height safety PPE products.
We know that the economic downturn is having an impact on some of our customers and we're here to help you as a UK manufacturer. Here at Leading Edge we recognised that there is also a demand for the opposite end of the scale, hence we have also developed a range of premium performance products. Many who have seen our new `Blade' harness have predicted "that it will replace our yellow elasticised harness within the next twelve months".
In addition to the above enhancements to the business, we have invested in the multi-media side of our business by bringing onboard an in house media designer, who is currently working on the development of a new web site, quickly followed by building multimedia into our training courses.
