Clyde Energy Solutions has expanded its catalogue with the addition of three new floor standing cast iron boiler ranges which replace the higher output models in the CK range. Specifiers can now choose from a total of 27 models, all high-efficiency units with outputs from 40kW to 930kW, and with fuel options including natural gas, Class D oil and dual fuel.

Clyde’s Managing Director, Jeremy Arliss, says, “The new designs are particularly robust and will give even better performance and reliability than the previous CK range. The wide choice of models gives customers greater flexibility in planning their installations.”

Clyde’s Managing Director, Jeremy Arliss, says, “The new designs are particularly robust units and will give even better performance and reliability than the previous CK range. The wide choice of models gives customers greater flexibility in planning their installations.”

The Clyde CKRS range consists of five models which combine small size with outputs from 75kW to 145kW, perfect for retro-fitting into existing boiler rooms. All the cast iron components are supplied assembled with the boiler block hydraulically tested ready for connection to the system. The door is hinged to the right as standard, but can be refitted to hinge to the left if required. CKRS boilers are supplied with single, two stage or modulating burners.

The CKON range of boilers, with their narrow width, allows ease of access in the most inaccessible of boiler rooms. The CKON’s dimensions, combined with a full-profile door that can hinge to the right or the left, makes it an ideal system when space is at a premium. Seven models provide outputs from 163kW to 355kW.

The CKOM range of high efficiency boilers has eleven models with outputs from 378kW to 930kW. The boilers are supplied with the cast iron sections ready for easy on-site assembly with no special tools required. CKON and CKOM boilers are supplied with two-stage or modulating burners from leading manufacturers.

All Clyde CKRS, CKON and CKOM cast iron sectional boilers are manufactured to the highest standards and have a three pass design that ensures peak efficiency with exceptionally low standby losses.

The boilers are supplied with a comprehensive control panel complete with a burner/panel electrical loom. A factory fitted BMS interface is also available. All models are designed for use with LTHW open vented or pressurised systems with indirect potable hot water heating. All three designs are made from Grade GG20 cast iron and conform to the requirements of EN 303. For all models the cast iron boiler sections are guaranteed for five years, the burners and other components for one year.

Building on over 85 years’ expertise in the supply and support of boilers, radiators and heating systems for commercial customers, Clyde Energy Solutions is now complementing these products with sustainable energy systems. As a result of this wider focus Clyde has been restructured into six divisions: Boilers, Radiators, Sustainable Energy, Hot Water Systems, Technical Services, and Consulting.
