As waste levels are increasingly limited by local councils and there is constant encouragement for recycling as much as possible, everyone is becoming more aware of careful waste disposal. There is, however, a large proportion of kitchen waste that cannot be recycled and makes up the bulk of most household waste, including leftovers from meals, vegetable peelings, bones and even eggshells. Caple has launched a new range of waste disposal units that are the perfect addition to the kitchen to tackle this problem.
The brand new range of Caple waste disposers consists of three products, the WD050, WD065 and WD075, each designed for top functionality. Each of the products operate on a continuous feed, meaning they are activated by a wall switch or air switch with running water. This continuous feed allows more waste to be processed than products using a batch feed, as waste can be fed through continuously while it is working. The Caple products feature speeds from 3000 to 3500rpm.
The Caple waste disposers feature a triple galvanised steel mounting piece, creating even weight distribution and structural balance. The snap on system is simple to install, strong and durable. Inside the unit, there are two stainless steel rotating spin heads, which carry out the grinding function. The heads in the Caple products spin freely by 360°, again creating a balanced system, which actually self cleans. The WD065 and WD075 models feature two additional vertical cutters for maximised functionality, which are kept completely out of reach to minimise any risk of injury.
Caple waste disposal units feature a permanent magnetic motor, which is much more powerful than induction motors, which are often used in such products, as they achieve twice the revolution speed and operate remarkably quietly. The WD065 and WD075 also feature sound insulation to create an even quieter operation. Each of the models is approved by the British Electrotechnical Approval Board (BEAB) and carries a two year parts and labour warranty.
The new waste disposal units from Caple require a 90mm sink outlet and each features a dishwasher connection. The models start from £75.93 inc VAT.
