Capable of automating an all-glass sliding door without the need for visible top or bottom rails, this technologically advanced system is capable of creating a uniquely minimalist internal entrance. 'Although there are similar products available, this is the only system that is genuinely frameless without any visible rails or frames to impinge upon the aesthetics of door design,' comments Nicholas Price, MD for TORMAX. Simple to order as a complete doorset, the Full Glass system is a surprisingly cost-effective way of creating an eye-catching feature in a modern setting.
Smoothly opening and closing internal glass sliding doors as if by invisible force, the Win Drive Full Glass system utilises a unique fixing system to attach the top of the door leaves to the trolleys, all of which is hidden inside the operator cover. Stabilising the door at floor level, an unobtrusive, sprung-loaded guide is fitted just under the back edge of the door leaf in its open position, keeping the door under constant pressure and ensuring it cannot swing out. For maximum visual impact the frameless door is ideally located within a glass wall partition but can be fitted to almost any internal opening with either one or two sliding leaves. The Full Glass system can be installed with or without the TORMAX frameless side screens, as required.
Using proven technology to power the frameless door, the Win Drive 2201 is one of TORMAX's most widely used operators. Capable of reliably performing in busy locations, the Win Drive is surprisingly compact measuring
just 142mm x 100mm. This exceptionally slim profile is an obvious advantage when designing an all-glass entrance. Further reducing the apparent visibility of the operator, the internal gear is coated in an anodised black finish.
With security and safety remaining the top priority at all times, the Win Drive's emergency opening system reacts instantly to any obstruction detected when sliding closed. Simplified 2-key programming allows opening and closing speeds and hold-open time, all to be adjusted to suit foot traffic flow. | |
