 | | MICROMARK BATHROOM EXTRACTOR FANS – NEW CONTEMPORARY RANGE OF 10 MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM | | | Micromark | | 05/10/2006 | | | Micromark today announces its new, broader range of extractor fans to suit every bathroom/toilet requirement. The 10 new products complement the existing Micromark air management portfolio. They have a new, modern fascia design and are priced to be more cost-effective than the current model range.
Mike Tarbard, Product Manager at Micromark comments: 'The new range offers something for everyone with 10 models to choose from. They are ideal for electrical contractors and building material suppliers as they offer even better value for money and the new look complements contemporary bathroom designs.'
The new comprehensive range for any bathroom/toilet requirement comes in four different models:
Timer - with built-in adjustable time delay operate by a light switch (model no.s: MM53555, MM53558, MM53559, MM53564)
Pull cord - with built in cord switch (model no.s: MM53563, MM53565)
Humidity controlled - with built-in adjustable sensor, which operates the fan automatically (model no.s: MM53557)
Low voltage - including transformer (model no.: MM53562)
In addition, the range offers four different types for specific applications:
Axial Fans
These fans are designed to move air over short distances and would be typically fitted through a wall or a window. They are available in two sizes 4' or 6'.
Centrifugal Fans
These extractor fans are designed to move air over long distances and will perform well against the pressure caused by long distances of ducting and resistance by grilles.
Humidistat Controls
These controls are designed to switch on the fan as the humidity rises in the bathroom and off as it drops. It will continue to monitor the humidity 24 hours per day, thus preventing mould growth on walls and ceilings and drastically reduces condensation problems.
Fan Kits
In addition, the range also includes the MM53561 shower light kit timer model, which comes with the following: a chrome finish shower light fitting, transformer, ducting, white facia ring and external wall grille. The MM53556 fan kit with timer model and the MM53565 6' wall fan kit with pull cord both come with flexible PVC ducting and 100mm wall grille. | |
