 | | HOARE LEA APPOINT NEW PARTNER - CARL SAXON | | | Hoare Lea Lighting | | 29/10/2006 | | | Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers is delighted to announce that Carl Saxon has accepted an invitation to become a Partner of the Firm.
Carl Saxon, BEng (Hons) CEng, MCIBSE, MEI, joined Hoare Lea in 1998 as a Senior Engineer. He became an Executive Engineer in 1999 and an Associate in 2001 and has since managed a project team in Hoare Lea's Birmingham office.
Carl has 20 years experience within the construction industry and has undertaken landmark projects in the residential, office, leisure and education sectors. He has particular expertise in environmental design and technologies and has been responsible for projects such as BT Parkside, Conkers (an award winning educational visitors' centre located in the heart of the National Forest) and the National Farmers Union Headquarters, all of which have strong sustainability credentials. He has also recently led the Highbury Square project which involves converting the existing Arsenal Stadium at Highbury into a 710 apartment mixed use scheme and incorporates sustainable technologies including a communal heating scheme, solar hot water collectors and a combined heat and power unit.
