Pipe Center is now Wolseley UK's lead brand for above ground pressure plastics.
Long established as a specialist distributor of plant and pipe systems within the commercial and industrial markets, Pipe Center boasts dedicated divisions in stainless steel, plastics, valves, fabrication and export. In addition, specialist technical support is available through Pipe Center's Technical Industrial Center in Fareham and Technical Heating Centre in Leamington Spa.
Pipe Center's strength comes from its nationwide coverage through 95 branches, staffed by people whose experience and knowledge of products and markets provides a unique service to all market sectors. Within this network Pipe Center has a number of dedicated Plastics branches, whose strategy is to focus on the industrial plastics market, which ensures that they stay at the forefront of customer needs, with the stocking capacity to support customers' requirements.
Pipe Center will serve both the building services and industrial markets in partnership with leading manufacturers, including George Fischer, Durapipe, Girpi, Geberit, Rehau and Uponor Unipipe. In addition to off-the-shelf product, Pipe Center Plastics also supplies sheet, rod and ventilation pipes and fittings for the fabrication and air extraction markets. Pipe Center brand director Tony Morris said 'We recognise that specialist knowledge is required with pressure plastics, both in building services and specialist industrial sectors such as water treatment and food production. Plastic products can be ordered from any of the 95 Pipe Center branches but we have set up a number of specialist branches within our network to provide expert advice and to exclusively supply plastics.'
Wolseley also supplies above ground non-pressure, below ground pressure and non-pressure product through its Drain Center network.
