Revival Decorative Mouldings

Another design in a new range of modem fibrous plaster tube mouldings is now available. The modern range was launched by Revival Decorative Mouldings. The purpose is to bring fibrous plaster into the 21st century by reflecting current architectural and design trends.

The stepped moulding comprises parallel linked curves diminishing in perspective to create an aesthetic embellishment between the vertical and the horizontal. Other variations in the range include a silver tube which reflects contemporary tubular steel furniture and construction, coin shaped discs as a modem interpretation of the square dentil and grouped in different ways and the octagonal tube influenced by the colour and light of glass buildings.

The major purpose of the new range is to encourage designers to create their own styles and decorative forms which can be produced by Revival, often using computer-aided technology. Many configurations of size and shape are possible.

Unlike the rigidity of building products, fibrous plaster is unique because it will adapt to any shape and can be used in an infinite number of ways to create applied decorations or three-dimensional forms for any horizontal or vertical surface.
