Muraspec, Europe's leading manufacturer of wallcoverings, uses reflective finishes and dramatic design to maximum effect with their latest Showcase designs.

Developed in conjunction with customer feedback, the Showcase range features cutting edge designs for commercial applications. The five new designs within the Showcase range include metallic, non-metallic and pearlescent finishes to offer interior designers and decorators maximum choice.

Dramatic Damask

Taking a traditional damask design to a new level, Muraspec's Lyon wallcovering features a striking bold print in large proportions. A damask offset on a subtle metallic stripe, Lyon is available in five highly fashionable colourways. Lyon offers the interiors market an exciting reinvention of a popular design, which has stood the test of time and makes for a truly dramatic backdrop.

Reflected Glory

The design and five colour variants of Muraspec's Bengal drew inspiration from tiger skin. Effortlessly combining a striking design with a metallic finish, Bengal is ideal for hotel interiors and offers a stunningly fashionable look to the commercial user.

A new design created in close partnership with customers is Myriad. Initially created from an original artwork showing a magnified graphical weave structure, Myriad was then progressed through customer input. Since conception it has been translated and coloured with the hotel and hospitality sector in mind. Myriad has two distinct colour palettes within the range, which include four metallic colourways.

Subtle Tones

More subtle uses of colour and reflection can be found in the Batik and Sahara Stripe designs in the Showcase range.

The delicate balance of Batik's printed mica's with the combination of the brushed metal texture gives a sophisticated finish to the product. The new design features a subtle organic leaf structure with a pearlescent sheen and is available in six muted colour-ways. By using lighting Batik has the ability to blend in or stand out.

Sahara Stripe's simple design of 'torn-paper' horizontal and vertical stripes has been designed to appeal to a wide cross section of customers. It is available in five muted colourways with some metallic options, and coordinates perfectly with the plain Sahara design.

In addition to the new designs, Muraspec has extended the colour options within highly popular existing ranges including Kern and Vermont. These designs have 11 and 7 new additional colourways respectively.

Richard Wallington, Muraspec's head of marketing, comments: 'At Muraspec we are constantly striving to innovate and grow the commercial wallcoverings market, and the new Showcase additions epitomise our offering. Dramatic designs and bold use of metallics combine for a strong product range, developed specifically for, and closely with our customers. The Showcase range will really bring walls to life.'
