 | | A NEW WEBSITE FOR DECORATIVE PANELS | | | Decorative Panels | | 23/10/2006 | | | Paper foil lamination pioneers Decorative Panels have revised their website presence in order to 'better reflect today's design trends and user friendly internet attitudes,' says sales manager Steve Cadwell.
Europe's largest trade lamination house, Decorative Panels' new website was launched Euro-wide at ZOW in February and is the most direct route into the Huddersfield company's portfolio of products and services. The site introduces around a 100 printed paper foil options for lamination to a range of wood based panel materials including chipboard, MDF, ply and now Decorative Panels' own thicker but lighter weight LiteCore board, launched recently in response to the current vogue for chunkier furniture and interior fitments.
Individual foil designs can be enlarged on the new site for a three quarter screen view, intricately detailed in terms both of wood grains and colours. Each foil is named, reference numbered and any comparable foil options that may be available are listed for viewing. However, as specific and detailed as the new web-tour of the current DP range is, new customer interfaces have also been established in Huddersfield for the fastest possible foil and component enquiry and sampling services.
features a video tour of Decorative Panels' custom built lamination factory at Elland, a 100,000 sq ft building, itself due for expansion in 2006 to also become the administrative centre of the company. That function is being relocated from the current Crosland Road HQ at Oakes, releasing that site for use in the manufacture of foil laminated, panel-based components alongside two other existing Huddersfield factories.
