The MET Office has predicted that the 2006/7 winter is going to be milder than the one experienced last year in the UK, although of course this does not rule out occasional cold snaps and snow. In such weather conditions, central heating can be inconvenient and lead to unnecessary expense. Additionally, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) recommends that indoor temperatures during the winter months be maintained between 68 and 75 °F. The heater is equipped with the ECO® function meaning that the burner automatically switches off once the room has reached the desired temperature and on again as soon as a drop in temperature is detected. The Inverter is a totally safe heating solution featuring a burner that produces no fumes, condensation, combustion or odours. The unit's Air Sensor® technology constantly monitors the levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen (O2) in the atmosphere and as soon as any abnormalities are detected the heater is instantly switched off. Moreover, it automatically shuts down when knocked, jolted or tilted. A 'Cool Case' insulated housing eliminates the risk of accidents and an Electronic Child Lock makes it impossible to be accidentally started by a child.
The innovative heater has been equipped with simple-to-use electronic timer and thermostat allowing it to be pre-programmed to start up at a desired time and heat the room to the required temperature. An audible alarm sounds approximately 30 minutes before the fuel tank is empty, ensuring uninterrupted heating. Additionally, the Inverter is very compact taking up very little space and light enough to be easily moved around the house. The unit runs on a high quality ultra-low sulphur kerosene fuel.
