Lighting for the car park at the new Homebase DIY and Gardening Superstore in Milton Keynes is provided by Vista Grande luminaires from Holophane Lighting.
One of the key considerations for car park lighting is to minimise energy consumption and light pollution while ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff after dark. Another requirement for Homebase was for maximum column spacings using the minimum amount of luminaires and to achieve this, the Vista Grande luminaires are mounted on 8 metre tubular columns and utilise 400W SON-XT lamps to provide excellent light distribution and an evenly spread, bright light that increases security.
Vista Grande luminaires were specified not only for their striking, contemporary looks and exceptional optical performance but also suitability for applications where maximum column spacings are a key requirement.
