Interbuild 2006 will see Colourgen launching its range of exclusive colour and monochrome scan-to-print solutions for the CAD and architectural design markets.

Colourgen, which is exhibiting at Interbuild for the first time, will be demonstrating the Seiko I Infotech Tenostar integrated printer and scanner - which offers a black and white scan-to-print solution with speed, quality and ease of use.

Also on the stand will be Colourgen's unique colour scan-to-print solution comprising the Vidar Atlas P42 scanner, the EPSON Stylus Pro 9400 4 colour wide format printer and Caldera Graphics imaging software.

Interbuild 2006 returns to the NEC in Birmingham in April and will feature a specialist 1TSHOWCASE area, which will highlight all the latest IT solutions for the construction market.

Colourgen, based in Berkshire, is the UK's leading specialist distributor of large format digital colour printing solutions, consumables, bespoke software, engineering and support services.

Melanie Enser, Colourgen's Product Marketing Manager, said the company was attending Interbuild for the first time because the show is the ideal platform to raise the profile of Colourgen's products and what they can do for construction projects around the UK.

She explained: 'This is Colourgen's first appearance at Interbuild and visitors to our stand will be able to see and try out our range of affordable, easy to use, yet hugely powerful, scan-to-print solutions.

'These systems are ideal for CAD, GIS and AEC applications and since their launch earlier this year have already received high acclaim from the industry.'

The 1TSHOWCASE arena at Interbuild 2006 will bring together leading IT vendors from across the construction disciplines, said exhibition Event Director Gordon Thomas.

He explained: 'It will provide visitors with independent advice from a panel of experts, present free seminars, feature demonstrations on the most innovative products, and provide free literature and white papers from many of the industry's leading suppliers and independent associations.

'Many of the market leaders in specialist software for the construction industry will be exhibiting at 1TSHOWCASE and these will include Sage, Computers Unlimited, E-Vision/Microsoft, Conquest Software, Crest Software and Integrity Software.'

More than 44,000 trade professionals attended Interbuild when it was last held in 2004, and together they represented a combined buying power of around £24.5billion.

The show returns to the NEC in Birmingham from April 23-27.
