Net2AIR offers significant advantages over conventional hands free access control systems:

Compared with typical competing hands free solutions, Net2AIR increases read ranges by up to 150%;

Its long distance read range from small, inconspicuous readers offers user convenience without compromising building design or requiring fit of door or ground loops;

Net2AIR is easy to retrofit to existing Net2 systems - this avoids hardware redundancy and provides easy path to future upgrades;

Allows simultaneous use of hands free and traditional tokens reducing implementation costs and maintaining complete user flexibility;

Use of 3D not 2D antennae means that keyfobs will read at any angle to give optimum hands free use;

Net2AIR ensures compliance with DDA legislation swiftly and as cost effectively as possible. 'Net2AIR is ideal as a DDA compliance solution but will also appeal to users in many other environments,' believes Adam Stroud, Paxton Access Sales and Marketing Director. 'Consider a store or loading bay, for instance, where materials are frequently being moved. Presenting a token is at best inconvenient and at worst completely impractical in such warehouse and despatch areas. On the other hand, companies concerned about their image and prestige may find Net2AIR communicates precisely the kind of sophistication they wish to communicate to their employees and customers.'

To fit Net2Air to an existing Net2 installation simply requires the fitting of the Net2AIR hands free interface between the Net2 control unit and the reader. Net2AIR is compatible with any Paxton Access 'P' series reader including Paxton Access' small 38mm PROXIMITY P38 reader. Net2AIR keyfobs have a battery life of around five years when in average daily use.

Net2AIR is available from Advanced Access, Aldridge, Gardiner Security, GB Locking Systems, Norbain Security and Tate Colson.
