Leading new homes warranty provider Premier Guarantee has teamed up with the House Builders Association (HBA) to create an exclusive deal on home warranties.

As from June 2006, HBA members registering a scheme with Premier Guarantee will enjoy a reduced technical assessment flat fee of £250 compared to the usual charge of between £300 - £500 depending on the nature of the development.

The process is designed to be fast and hassle-free, with no charge for registration. Premier has a national network of highly qualified building surveyors on hand to carry out comprehensive key stage technical inspections, working closely with housebuilders to avoid delays.

The HBA was launched in the National Federation of Builders (NFB) in 2005. The organisation currently has 800 members and its core purpose is to challenge Government on the sector's regulatory, financial and planning regimes, and promote the industry's SME agenda.

Robin Plaster, Sales & Marketing Director of Premier Guarantee comments: 'We are delighted to link up with the HBA as part of our drive to improve connections with small and medium sized developers, who are heavily focused on improving the image of the entire housebuilding industry by leading the way on better build quality, design and urban regeneration. Smaller and medium sized builders now build almost 50 per cent of all new homes and their share of the market continues to rise, so we are keen to offer them the best new homes warranties at the most competitive prices.'

Nigel Stubbings, Director of Operations at the National Federation of Builders, added: 'We welcome Premier Guarantee on board and are confident that their product will genuinely add value to the HBA membership. Medium and smaller sized housebuilders have a different agenda to that of volume developers, and Premier has an excellent understanding of how they do business.'

Premier's scheme has been developed to provide a 10-year warranty on newly built or converted homes and is recognised by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), Council of Mortgage Lenders and individual mortgage lenders.
