Decorative steel benches with LED lighting were chosen for the area. The blue LED optic is buried into one of the slats and secured into a stainless steel supporting plate with anti tamper screws, which reinforce the slat and provide vandal resistance.
Part of the objective was also to design a contemporary and unique lighting system for both the pedestrian and vehicular users. The curved columns have a staggered configuration. Miura 600s with a 150W CDM-T lamp, light the carriageway and Miura 500s with a 70W CDM-T lamp light the pavement. | |
