Sola Skylights' latest innovation is set to improve people's quality of life at home and in the workplace. The Sky Tunnel Power Ventilation Kit brings natural light and fresh air into domestic and commercial locations in a single solution.

Sitting in stuffy buildings with stale air and the artificial glare of an electric light for long periods is a draining experience for anyone who is subjected to it in the workplace. To make matters worse, very often the utility rooms and toilets of these premises are poorly ventilated. Similarly, at home it is frustrating for many whose bathrooms aren't afforded the benefit of natural light, and thus the ventilation provided by external windows.

Sola Skylights' Sky Tunnel has been a huge success in private and business applications for over a decade, with homeowners and commercial developers alike appreciating its quality provision of natural light into dark interior rooms. The Sky Tunnel Power Ventilation Kit provides the same natural lighting solution, but now offers the added attraction of ventilation. It has been designed for installation in bathrooms, lavatories, shower-rooms and utility spaces - indeed, any areas where condensation and odours are an issue.

Sola Skylights' complete roof-to-ceiling light-pipe and ventilation system incorporates a polycarbonate dome and extractor device. Both are fitted to a single metal soaker tray. The kit's reflective, flexible polyester Flexi-Tube® pipes natural light to the Adjustair diffuser in the ceiling below, while a second flexible tube provides powered ventilation.

Sky Tunnel Power Ventilation Kits comprise every component required for a quick and easy installation, and are available in 400 and 500mm sizes with an exhaust capacity of 200,000 litres per hour - an astonishing 55.5 litres per second.

A 20-year manufacturer's certificate is issued with each Sky Tunnel to guarantee against manufacturing defects, rust, corrosion and weather deterioration of the main components.
