From the Home Page, with its punchy centrepiece highlighting the advantages of using aluminium profiles (Reasons to use aluminium), the website takes existing and potential customers on an easy-to-navigate journey through the company’s activities, successes, products and fabricator support systems.
As Beaufort’s managing director, Nigel Yates, says : “Our products work on every level – looks, performance and security. I believe we’ve got a website here that works on the same level. It looks good. It’s not over-complicated. Information is available quickly and easily. And, judging from the feedback we’ve had, visitors like it, too.”
Numerous illustrated examples of aluminium windows installations are either on the Home page or under the News section. Here, too, Beaufort includes a series of technical bulletins providing invaluable information on product and Building Regulations updates.
One look at the Product section reveals every Beaufort window and door profile, set out in detailed specification and fabrication guides that download swiftly, along with concise data such as weather performance test results, size limitations, security test results, the arrangement of component parts and much, much more.
The Downloads section reveals how easy it is to ‘design your own window’ step-by-step, via specification data and CAD downloads, culminating in frames and vents.
“Fabricator training and support also finds a place on the new site,” says Nigel Yates. “It is this aspect of our corporate culture that complements the product range so well. We take great care of our fabricators, because we also realise that our reputation depends on them as much as it does on us.”
Visitors to the new website can also keep abreast of Beaufort’s activities at this year’s Interbuild. The company is on stand 04-E115 and with 2007 scheduled to be a year of significant technical development for Beaufort, the stand will highlight a number of new products. Among them will be its ground floor treatments system, whilst other clear pointers to the increasing technical excellence and sustainability of Beaufort Secure Design’s systems will also be coming on-stream in time for Interbuild. | |
