‘REGENCY STYLING’ FROM SWISH BUILDING PRODUCTS
Swish Building Products
25/04/2007
Developer Newfield Jones has completed a new retirement complex in Southport using Swish Building Products new ‘Regency –style’ dentils along the roofline.
The Regency Gardens development of more than 50 apartments in Southport was completed by Lytham-based developer at the beginning of May.
Having switched to the Swish roofline system in 2003, Newfield Jones selected Swish Ogee Facias, GeePee Soffits and new dentils, supplied by Swish distributor GAP.
Geoff Wheeler, business development manager Swish Building Products, said: “Swish dentils have proved an excellent match to the designs of surrounding Regency buildings in Southport.
“Moreover, in an exposed coastal position and at more than four storeys high, Newfield Jones wanted to select a low maintenance and durable roofline system.
“PVC doesn’t rot or require maintenance and Swish white cellular PVC has a 15-year colour-fastness guarantee making it an ideal choice for a coastal location where weathering will be a major factor.”
Newtfield Jones won the British Housebuilder of the year awards for the 75 to 100 units per year category for the seventh successive year last year. John Haagensen company buyer said,”The launch of the new dentil from Swish couldn’t have been better timed from our perspective.
“There are a number of Regency properties surrounding the site and we were conscious that our building should blend in with these much older buildings.
“We didn’t want to use timber because of the associated maintenance costs but nothing else on the market was really suitable for the scale of project we were delivering.
“The new Swish dentil was a perfect match and its launch the perfect timing.”
